Picric acid (PA, 2,4,6-trinitrophenol) is a polynitrated aromatic acid. It is strongly acidic in nature.  Since it readily dissolves in water, it can easily pollute the environment on exposure. NOT FOR SALE

This monograph for Picric Acid provides, in addition to common physical constants, a general description including typical appearance, applications, aqueous solubility, and pKa. The monograph also details the following specifications and corresponding tests for verifying that a substance meets ACS Reagent Grade specifications including: Water, Melting Point (Dried), Insoluble, Resinous Matter, Insoluble in Toluene, and Sulfate. Special caution is advised for the handling or testing of this substance.

It is one of the most acidic phenols. Like other strongly nitrated organic compounds, picric acid is an explosive, which is its primary use. It has also been used as medicine (antiseptic, burn treatments) and as a dye. NOT FOR SALE ONLY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE
